Wood Stove Inserts

A wood burning fireplace loses up to 80% of the fire’s heat up the chimney and depletes warmer air from inside the home. If you are looking to generate more heat out of your existing masonry or metal zero clearance fireplace, a wood stove insert can help you achieve efficiency ratings of around 70%.  A wood stove insert can transform almost any inefficient open fireplace into an efficient home heating source.  Radiant and convection heating is used to transfer heat from the insert to the home.  Wood burning inserts provide a reliable heat source even during power outages and do not need blowers to operate, although electrical blowers are available if additional heat circulation is desired.  Jetmore carries wood inserts manufactured by Avalon, Lopi, Fireplace Xtrordinair, and Osburn.  All of the stove inserts come with an air wash system to keep the glass on the door clean, are non-catalytic, and are E.P.A. certified, making them some of the most environmentally friendly inserts available.  Because of the amount of heat provided by these units, some clearance restrictions are required and although these units use your existing chimney to vent, an additional liner is need for these units to vent properly.  Please contact a member of our sales team regarding price, availability, clearance restrictions, and venting questions.
