Gas Stoves

If you are looking for the appearance of a wood fire, but do not want all the work that is associated with cutting, stacking, and starting wood, gas stoves offer just that.  Gas stoves, whether natural or propane, provide the aesthetics of a wood fire but have the convenience of gas heat.  With the flick of a switch or the press of a button, a beautiful fire can be achieved in seconds.  Jetmore carries gas stoves that are direct vented and stoves that are vent free.  Direct vented stoves do need to be vented, but unlike wood, the venting is not required to be terminated on your roof top.  If the stove is being placed on an outside wall, the units’ chimney can be terminated on the side of your home.  These stoves produce a tremendous amount of heat and can reach efficiency ratings of around 80%.  Direct vent stoves do not require electric to run, however, an optional electric blower is available to circulate the heat produced by the stove to other areas of your home.  Jetmore carries direct vent gas stoves made by Avalon and Lopi.
            Vent free stoves do not require any venting.  These stoves can achieve efficiency ratings of around 98%.  Vent free gas stoves also do not require electric to run and come equipped with oxygen depletion safety controls.  Jetmore carries vent free stoves made by Sun Valley.
